OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (“OSR”)
This position is key to driving revenue and building strong customer relationships. The Outside Salesperson will be responsible for generating leads, converting them into sales, writing accurate estimates, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deposit collection. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, sales acumen, a dedication to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work independently in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting products/services and closing deals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and maximize revenue.
- Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels (networking, referrals, online platforms, etc.).
- Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to attract new customers.
- Maintain an organized lead tracking system to monitor progress and conversion rates.
- Write Estimates:
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for customers, outlining project scope, pricing, and timelines.
- Ensure estimates are clear, concise, and easy for customers to understand.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Customer Retention/Service/Reviews:
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer journey.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Proactively seek customer feedback and online reviews to improve service and satisfaction levels.
- Deposit Collection:
- Ensure timely collection of deposits according to company policies and procedures.
- Follow up on outstanding deposits and maintain accurate records of all payments received.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding deposit requirements and payment options.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to client appointments and job sites.
- Valid FL Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different cultures and personality types.
- Strong self-motivation and a desire for personal growth.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and codes related to specific fields.
- Proficiency in Apple Office Suite (MAC Mail, Pages, Numbers, Google).
- Flexibility in adapting to company changes and processes.
- Knowledge of IKON Windows and Doors product lines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel to and from appointments.
- Comfort navigating job sites in different weather conditions and performing physical tasks such as bending, climbing, stretching, reaching, and leaning to acquire accurate measurements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) year business degree (preferred).
- Two (2) plus years of general sales experience.
- Proven sales history in the fenestration industry with references (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of construction concepts, tools, timelines, and job sites.
- Familiarity with windows and doors (preferred).

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- This position is commission-based only.

TRAINING & COMPANY PROVIDED TOOLS:
- The OSR will receive training to support their success at IKON.
- IKON will provide a phone and tablet to complete work-related tasks.
