The Role
The General Laborer will assist with construction, industrial maintenance, building projects, and other job-site activities. Responsibilities may include preparing work areas, handling materials, operating tools, assisting skilled tradespeople, and performing general construction duties.
Experience with carpentry, concrete work, or metal building construction is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
-Perform general labor duties on construction and industrial job sites.
-Assist with carpentry, framing, building repairs, and installation projects.
-Assist with concrete preparation, forming, pouring, finishing, and cleanup.
-Help with the erection, installation, and repair of metal buildings and related components.
-Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
-Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other job-site equipment.
-Prepare job sites and work areas, including cleanup and debris removal.
-Assist mechanics, welders, carpenters, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
-Follow instructions, safety procedures, and project requirements.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in general labor or a related field.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in a construction environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks.
Nice to Have
- Experience in specific trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Certification in safety training or first aid.
- Familiarity with construction blueprints and plans.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company. The role may require on-site work at various locations.
Salary: $17 - $24 per hour, based on experience.
