Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Electronics Repair Technician. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices. This position requires someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to changes.


Primary Responsibilities:


- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on various electronic devices to identify and resolve technical issues.

- Disassemble and reassemble laptops, phones, and tablets with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient resolution of technical challenges in the smartphone and tablet domain.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements related to smartphones and tablets to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Adhere to and promote safety measures, including ESD standards, when handling laptop, phone, and tablet components.

- Maintain a positive and proactive approach to tasks, contributing to a high-energy work environment focused on achieving excellence in smartphone and tablet repairs.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.

- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive lifting tasks as required.

- Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Experience in electronics repair is required or completion of on-the-job training in electronics or small parts assembly, with a specific emphasis on smartphones and tablets.

- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards and safe handling of smartphone and tablet components.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving issues related to laptops, phones, tablets, and other electronic devices.

- Proficient in utilizing small tools and demonstrating good dexterity for intricate repair work.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle the demands of the repair facility.

- Team-oriented mindset, motivated to collaborate with colleagues in a cohesive manner.

- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude, maintaining a focus on precision and quality in all tasks.

- Familiarity with major brands of consumer electronics, particularly those relevant to smartphones and tablets, such as Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, Sony.

- OEM and third-party part certifications are a plus.
