We are looking for a friendly and organized receptionist to join our team at iDoc Device Repair. As the first point of contact for customers, the receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting clients, managing the front desk, and ensuring smooth operations of the customer service process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Description

Customer Interaction:


Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the repair center.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding repair services, pricing, and product availability.

Assist clients with check-in and check-out processes for device repairs and pickups.

Provide status updates to customers regarding their device repairs.

Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a professional manner.



Administrative Tasks:


Maintain and update confidential customer records, including repair orders and service history.

Schedule appointments for device repairs, diagnostics, or consultations.

Process payments for services rendered.



Communication & Coordination:


Collaborate with technicians and service team to ensure timely repair completion and customer communication.

Assist in coordinating repair estimates and part orders.

Communicate with customers via email, phone, or text to confirm appointments or provide additional information.


Maintaining Cleanliness & Organization:


Keep the reception area neat, organized, and professional at all times.

Ensure that the front desk is well-stocked with necessary office supplies and brochures.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Support Team Operations:


Assist with other tasks as needed to support the repair center’s daily operations.


Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service or office administration is a plus.

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred, ideally in a tech-related environment (e.g., electronics or device repair).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional, calm manner.

Basic knowledge of device repair terminology and processes is a plus.

Familiarity with Google Workspace platform. 

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.


Physical Requirements:


Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Occasionally lifting light office equipment or packages up to 35 lbs.
