About the Role

iDoc Repair is a nationwide depot repair center based in Macomb, IL. Customers across the country ship their devices to us for diagnosis and repair — and this role is the voice and presence that keeps that experience running smoothly. We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused person to own our front office.

Most of your customer interaction will happen via email and phone, though we do see some local walk-in traffic as well. When things are calm at the front, you’ll pitch in across the business — supporting our repair parts team, finance, and customer service, and occasionally helping in the back with light unit management. If you like variety and staying useful, this job delivers that.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and respond to our service email inbox — this is the primary channel for our nationwide customer base
  • Greet and assist local walk-in customers at the front desk
  • Answer phones and communicate repair status updates to customers in a timely, professional manner
  • Support department heads with administrative tasks across repair parts and finance/customer service
  • Keep the front area organized and presentable

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Lobby hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • $17–$22 per hour based on experience

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine people person who enjoys helping customers and solving problems
  • Reliable and punctual — we depend on you to be here
  • Strong written communication skills (you’ll be managing email)
  • Comfortable with basic computer tasks (email, data entry, looking things up)
  • Adaptable — happy to shift gears and help wherever needed
  • Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person
  • Must be comfortable with a fixed schedule (Monday–Friday, no remote option)
