Description

ABOUT IDL

IDL is building a global professional dance league where elite teams compete across live events, media, creators, and brand partnerships.

We are building the sponsorship outbound system that helps the right brands find their place in that league. This role is central to that work: you will turn market research into qualified sponsor conversations, then help the team learn where to focus next.

THE ROLE

As IDL's Sales Development Representative, you will own the research, targeting, sequencing, and pipeline operations behind brand and agency outreach. You will work closely with IDL's sales owners to identify strong sponsor opportunities, reach the right people, and ensure every active conversation has a clean next step.

This is a hands-on outbound operations role. It is not a senior closing role or a strategic accounts lead role. When a prospect becomes a serious sponsorship conversation, you will prepare a thoughtful handoff so the appropriate sales owner can lead the deal.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Research and qualify sponsor accounts across categories such as apparel, beauty, beverage, quick-service restaurants, media, consumer technology, financial services, agencies, and creator platforms.

- Identify real partnership signals, including relevant sponsorships, creator programs, experiential campaigns, sports or culture marketing, audience alignment, and likely budget or timing.

- Map the right buyer path for each priority account, including brand, partnership, marketing, agency, and executive contacts as appropriate.

- Validate contact data before enrichment and maintain accurate account and contact records.

- Build focused campaign lists and sequence reviewed outreach through tools such as Clay, Apollo, Lemlist or Instantly, LinkedIn, and Google Sheets.

- Manage follow-ups, reply routing, opt-outs, suppression lists, and basic outbound deliverability hygiene.

- Keep the Asana sponsorship pipeline current, with clear stages, last and next touches, owners, and notes for every active account.

- Share a concise weekly learning update: what is working by category, buyer persona, message angle, and sponsorship hypothesis, plus the objections and buyer language the sales team should use.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You create a reliable flow of qualified sponsor conversations, not just a high volume of outbound activity. Strong work means the right accounts are prioritized, the right buyers are contacted, lists are clean, follow-up is timely, and the pipeline gives the team a dependable view of what is real.

In your first 90 days, you will learn IDL's priority offers and qualification criteria, establish a clean account and contact workflow, support controlled outbound campaigns, and help identify the categories and buyer personas that generate credible conversations.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT OWN

You will not be responsible for pricing, contract terms, category exclusivity, final proposals, custom activation commitments, or managing large strategic sponsor relationships. Your role is to create well-researched opportunities and make the handoff to the deal owner easy.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in sales development, outbound research, lead generation, partnerships operations, agency business development, marketing operations, or a similar role.

- Experience owning some part of an outbound workflow: account research, buyer mapping, enrichment, sequencing, follow-up, CRM or pipeline hygiene, and reporting.

- Strong research judgment. You can distinguish a plausible sponsor fit from a brand that merely has a large marketing budget.

- Confidence using a practical outbound tool stack. Experience with Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Salesforce, Asana, Airtable, or Google Sheets is relevant.

- Careful data habits: structured lists, accurate records, validated contacts, and dependable follow-through.

- Strong written English and clear async communication.

- Comfort working independently within an agreed process and raising judgment calls early.

- Availability for full-time work with a consistent daily overlap with US Pacific Time business hours.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in sponsorship, sports marketing, entertainment, live events, creator partnerships, influencer marketing, or agencies.

- Familiarity with outbound deliverability, light email personalization, or researching brand activations and partnership decision-makers.

- Interest in dance, culture, sport, creators, or community-driven brands.

ROLE DETAILS

- Location: Remote, Philippines.

- Engagement: Full-time contractor.

- Working hours: Daily overlap with US Pacific Time business hours is required. Please include your available hours in your application.

- Tools: Clay, Apollo, Lemlist or Instantly, LinkedIn, Asana, Google Workspace, and Slack.

HOW TO APPLY

Please send:

- Your resume or LinkedIn profile.

- A short note on the most relevant outbound, research, partnerships, or lead-generation system you have run.

- The tools you have used hands-on.

- A short redacted, anonymized, or self-created example of a list, campaign, or pipeline process you built or maintained.

- Your availability for US Pacific Time overlap.

Finalists may be asked to complete a short paid practical test focused on sponsor account research, buyer mapping, contact validation, and pipeline judgment.
