The IDL is a global professional league transforming dance into a global sport. Founded by the creators of STEEZY, IDL unites elite teams from around the world under a structured season with contracts, major prizes, and championships. Combining the rigor of professional sport with the spectacle of live entertainment, IDL is redefining what competition looks like for a new generation.

Why This Application Exists

Some of the people who could have the biggest impact at IDL will not fit neatly into a role we have already written. You may be a strong operator who also knows the dance world from the inside. You may understand a city, audience, business model, or capability that IDL will need as the league grows. You may see an opportunity we have not named yet.

We want to hear a clear case for where you could help.

This is an open application, not a current vacancy or a promise that we will create a position. If your pitch matches a real need, we will reach out to explore it. We may not be able to respond to every submission.

Who Should Apply

This application is for people with a combination of relevant ability and real conviction about what IDL is building. Strong applicants will usually bring several of the following:

• A track record of owning meaningful work and producing results
• Firsthand knowledge of dance, sports, media, entertainment, technology, consumer brands, or another field relevant to building a global league
• A specific view of where IDL can grow or operate better
• The ability to work across functions, cultures, or markets
• Enough initiative to define the problem, propose an approach, and carry the work forward

Enthusiasm matters, but it is not enough by itself. Show us what you have done and what you could own here.

What a Strong Pitch Includes

Name the problem or opportunity you believe IDL should pursue. Explain what you would aim to accomplish in your first 90 days and why the work matters now. Then give us evidence: results you have produced, programs you have run, communities you understand, or work we can review.

Be concrete. We would rather read a focused proposal for one useful role than a broad list of ways you might help.

Working with IDL

IDL is remote by default and operates across time zones, with live events and partners in multiple markets. Some work may require Pacific Time overlap, travel, or onsite event support. The location, schedule, engagement type, scope, and compensation for any opportunity will depend on the specific need and the proposal we decide to explore together.

How to Apply

Submit your resume and answer these three questions:

1. What problem or opportunity at IDL do you believe you could own? What would you aim to accomplish in your first 90 days?
2. Why are you unusually equipped to do this? Share one or two specific examples, results, or links to work we can review.
3. What working arrangement are you proposing? Include your location, availability, time-zone overlap, and whether you are interested in a full-time, part-time, or project-based opportunity.
