The Senior System Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain cloud-based (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure solutions.

• Implement and support enterprise networking, storage, and virtualization.

• Develop and enforce security policies (FISMA, NIST 800-53, OWASP).

• Work with DevSecOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues.

• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in systems engineering, highly proficient in core technologies and the latest systems engineering frameworks. Proven ability to design and implement efficient, user-centric systems and collaborate effectively within an agile environment.

• Extensive experience working on Agile teams and leveraging the latest systems engineering tools, techniques, and methods to design and deploy efficient user-facing systems.

• Skilled in integrating complex system components, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Proficient in requirements analysis, system architecture design, and validation processes to meet user and business needs.

• Expertise in Linux, Windows, VMware, and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and FedRAMP compliance.

Employment Type:

• Full Time, Hybrid – Must be able to report on-site at client’s location, as required. 

Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active MBI Clearance preferred.

• US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required.
