We are seeking a full-time Senior Network Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced Tier 3 support, design, and implementation of enterprise network systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Cisco technologies, cloud integration, and secure wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience with core networking technologies and security practices.

**The role is structured as a hybrid position, with an expectation to be on-site in Chicago, IL three days per week and remote work allowed for the other two days.**

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 3 IT support and resolve complex network issues in a high-availability environment.
• Design, document, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN networks including firewalls, wireless systems, and cloud integrations.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of Cisco firewalls (FPR 4112, FMC, ASA 5555), switches (Nexus 7k, Catalyst series), and routers (ASR series, 8300).
• Support routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and IPSec.
• Deploy and manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC 5520/9800), supporting EAP-TLS and PEAP authentication.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including TACACS+, RADIUS, and policy configurations.
• Manage and troubleshoot ExpressRoute connections to Microsoft Azure.
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center.
• Support Cisco VoIP infrastructure and IVR technologies.
• Configure and manage MTIPS and public IP infrastructure circuits.
• Provide basic Windows Server and Active Directory support (DNS, DHCP).

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 10+ years in Tier 3 IT support roles.
• 10+ years with Cisco network environments (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless).
• 10+ years configuring Cisco firewalls (ACLs, VPNs, NAT, AnyConnect).
• 10+ years implementing core/edge networking infrastructure.
• 10+ years with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec).
• 7+ years with Cisco WLC and secure wireless solutions (EAP-TLS/PEAP).
• 7+ years administering Cisco ISE.
• 7+ years with Azure ExpressRoute connectivity.
• 5+ years with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, DNA Center).
• 5+ years with Cisco VoIP and IVR.
• 3+ years with MTIPS and public IP configuration.
• 2+ years of Windows Server/Active Directory/DNS/DHCP.

Education:

• Associate degree or higher (Preferred)

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) is Required
• Microsoft Azure experience is preferred

Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident is required for this clearance.
