ICallidus is seeking an experienced Automation Lead responsible for implementing and managing automation frameworks, ensuring the effective integration of test automation within the software development lifecycle, and improving overall efficiency in quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will lead the automation team, develop test strategies, and collaborate closely with development teams to drive quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks for test execution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Oversee the automation roadmap and strategy, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the automation team.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to define automation requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain test data and automation reports, providing actionable insights on test results.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in automation development, automation lead excels in providing leadership to create and implement automated solutions using latest frameworks. Ensures high-quality software delivery and promote effective collaboration within an agile environment.
• Significant experience leading or working with Agile teams and utilizing the latest automation tools, techniques, and methods to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions across various processes. Skilled in operating within an agile and lean environment to consistently deploy updates and enhancements, ensuring efficiency and quality in software delivery.
• Strong proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cypress.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
• Expertise in API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience implementing test automation within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments.
• Strong understanding of OWASP security principles and adherence to NIST 800-53 and FISMA security controls.
• Knowledge of database testing with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based automation solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AI-driven test automation frameworks.
• Federal government contracting experience is highly preferred.
• Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level, Certified Agile Tester, or AWS/Azure DevOps Certifications.
Employment Type:
• Full Time, Hybrid – Must be able to report on-site at client’s location, as required.
Security Clearance:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active MBI Clearance preferred.
• US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required.

Salary range: $91,000 - $117,000 per year
