We are looking for a Project Manager with deep health plan expertise to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across our technology, clinical, and operational teams. You will manage concurrent workstreams spanning system implementations (Salesforce, Snowflake, UiPath), regulatory compliance timelines, and product launches. In a startup setting, you are as much a builder as a manager — you will create the project management infrastructure as well as run projects within it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for health plan technology and operational initiatives
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, RACI matrices, and status reporting
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with clinical, IT, compliance, and vendor stakeholders
• Track milestones and dependencies across simultaneous workstreams (data, automation, EHR, product)
• Identify and escalate risks proactively; develop contingency plans
• Build and maintain the company’s project management office (PMO) toolkit, templates, and cadences
• Support regulatory submission timelines for CMS, NCQA, and state insurance department requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years project management in healthcare technology or health plan environments
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred
• Experience managing technical projects (data platforms, EHR systems, core claims, automation)
• Strong command of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies
• Working knowledge of health plan operations: claims, eligibility, UM, network management
• Familiarity with CMS program timelines (Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Exchange)
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements in project delivery

• Proven ability to create project management structure in organizations that have none
• High tolerance for ambiguity — requirements change and priorities shift; you adapt quickly
• Strong individual contributor skills: you write the project plan, you don’t just review it
• Experience managing projects with lean teams where one person covers multiple roles
• Entrepreneurial mindset: identify gaps in process and fix them without being asked
• Comfortable holding peers and senior leadership accountable in a flat organizational structure

Salary
$80,000 - $150,000 per year
