I.H. Auto Parts is an independently owned auto parts store. We are seeking an entry-level store associate to join our team and support the delivery of parts to our commercial customers. In addition to delivering parts, you will also assist with various tasks and inventory processes within the store. This position is part-time and offers the opportunity to grow within our organization.
Description
Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Driver has the responsibility to deliver parts to our customers and assist with inventory processes and tasks in the store. This position requires a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must be cleared by our insurance to drive company vehicles. This position will be part-time with hours Monday thru Saturday.

General Accountabilities
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
- Collect payment from customers.
- Be professional and courteous to delivery site staff.
- Assist with task and inventory processes in the store.
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
- Pick up returns and cores.
- Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- Daily inspection of delivery vehicle
- Maintain fuel at full on delivery vehicle.
- General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
- Assist stocking and cleaning with focus on warehouse items.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Proper use of PPE

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
- Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system.
- Friendly communication
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to locate and stock parts.
- Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to remain in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
- Be able to work in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Salary
$16.5 - $18.5 per hour
