Junior Management Consultant (contingent)

HWC is seeking Junior Management Consultants for multiple roles helping our government clients create a more resilient Nation. Our work centers our nation’s resiliency, preparedness, and protection missions across multiple federal agencies. We’re looking for people who share our passion to help our customers create and implement strategies, develop and deliver complex solutions, and manage the critical programs that further their missions.
Successful applicants will help design and implement strategies, tools, and templates to support client programs. They will also be responsible for ensuring consistent planning, coordination, and management of communication and outreach materials, meeting preparation, status reports, data analysis, and research.
What You Will be Doing:
- Assisting in managing projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against milestones
- Providing meeting support, including scheduling and taking notes
- Working closely with senior consultants and other team members to execute projects and deliver high-quality results
- Conducting research, collecting data, and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop best practices and improve processes
- Preparing presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate project status, findings and recommendations to clients
- Identifying opportunities for improvement within client organizations, proposing solutions, and helping to implement changes
- Coordinating internal communications and interactions with key internal and external stakeholders
- Developing a variety of communication materials for multiple audiences
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and developing consulting skills

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. (4 years of experience if no degree)
- Entry-level: 2 – 4 years’ experience
- “Clean” criminal and financial/credit record enabling a successful U.S. government “Public Trust” background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to research, learn and use various business systems and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
HWC salaries are based on factors that include but are not limited to: location; an individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; organizational requirements; and contract-specific requirements. Salary is just one component of HWC’s total compensation package for employees.
The estimate here represents the typical salary range for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 (annualized USD). Benefits for eligible employees include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, and PTO.
