Join our team at Huntington Learning Center in Cedar Park as a teacher/tutor and make a positive impact on students' lives. As a teacher, you will work directly with students to help them achieve their academic goals using individualized lesson plans.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Execute carefully crafted lesson plans based on the individual needs and goals of each student.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
• Maintain detailed notes of tutoring sessions and promptly communicate any challenges to full time staff.
• Enjoy streamlined communication exclusively with our staff – no parent interaction required.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree is required.
• 1+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of phonics, reading, writing, and math.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies.

At Huntington Learning Center, we have a proven track record of helping students improve their reading, writing, and math skills by 2 full grade levels. We also excel in helping students achieve significant score increases on the ACT and SAT exams. In fact, our Cedar Park location has seen an average 8 point increase on the ACT and a 240 point increase on the SAT.
