Primary Responsibilities 

Solution Architecture 

• Design enterprise-scale Microsoft business application architectures. 
• Define technical approaches for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Copilot, and Azure solutions. 
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure solution architectures. 
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solution designs. 
• Establish application design standards and architectural best practices. 
• Review and approve technical designs, integrations, and development approaches. 

 

AI & Intelligent Applications 

• Design AI-enabled business solutions using Microsoft Copilot technologies. 
• Define patterns for intelligent automation, conversational experiences, and AI-enhanced workflows. 
• Evaluate appropriate uses of AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and emerging Microsoft AI technologies. 
• Ensure responsible implementation of AI through governance, security, compliance, and transparency standards. 
• Guide adoption of AI capabilities across client engagements. 

Integration & Platform Design 

• Define enterprise integration strategies across Microsoft and third-party systems. 
• Architect solutions utilizing APIs, Azure Integration Services, middleware, and event-driven architectures. 
• Design secure, scalable data movement and synchronization patterns. 
• Establish standards for interoperability, performance, and resiliency. 

Technical Governance 

• Establish and maintain architecture standards for Hummingbird delivery teams. 
• Support code review, solution review, and architecture review processes. 
• Define best practices for security, performance, scalability, monitoring, and maintainability. 
• Oversee application lifecycle management, DevOps, release management, and CI/CD standards. 
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. 

Client Engagement 

• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture sessions. 
• Present technical recommendations to executive, business, and technical stakeholders. 
• Support project estimations, roadmap planning, and technical strategy discussions. 
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs. 

Business Development Support 

• Support pre-sales activities and technical solutioning efforts. 
• Contribute to proposals, Statements of Work, architecture assessments, and technical estimates. 
• Participate in demonstrations and client solution presentations. 
• Assist in evaluating emerging Microsoft technologies and service offerings. 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
• 10+ years of experience delivering Microsoft business application solutions. 
• Extensive experience designing enterprise architecture utilizing Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure. 
• Deep expertise in application integration, APIs, middleware, and cloud-native architecture patterns. 
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and related technologies. 
• Experience designing complex enterprise solutions across CRM, ERP, custom applications, and automation platforms. 
• Advanced understanding of application security, governance, compliance, and platform architecture. 
• Experience establishing ALM, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise delivery practices. 
• Strong communication, facilitation, and client consulting skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and AI Builder. 
• Experience designing AI-enhanced business applications and intelligent automation solutions. 
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Finance & Operations, Customer Service, Sales, or Field Service. 
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and emerging Microsoft AI platform capabilities. 
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs.
