AI Engineer (Developer)

Primary Responsibilities 

Solution Design & Development 

• Design and develop enterprise-scale solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. 
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
• Design and implement custom application extensions, integrations, and automation solutions. 
• Develop reusable frameworks, components, and technical assets. 
• Participate in technical design reviews and architecture discussions. 

 

AI & Intelligent Applications 

• Design AI-enabled business applications utilizing Microsoft Copilot technologies. 
• Implement solutions leveraging Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure AI capabilities. 
• Assess and recommend practical AI use cases aligned with business objectives. 
• Support governance, security, and responsible use of AI technologies within delivered solutions. 

 

Technical Delivery 

• Own technical workstreams across assigned projects. 
• Lead technical implementation efforts. 
• Identify and mitigate technical risks. 
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues. 
• Support performance optimization and scalability initiatives. 
• Contribute to Hummingbird technical standards and delivery best practices. 

Client Engagement 

• Participate in solution workshops and design sessions. 
• Present technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders. 
• Support technical estimations and discovery efforts. 
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and delivery leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
• 3-6 years of experience developing Microsoft business applications. 
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform solutions. 
• Working knowledge of Dataverse. 
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. 
• Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and REST APIs. 
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot technologies. 
• Experience with Copilot Studio or AI Builder. 
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or ERP applications. 
• Familiarity with Azure integration services. 
• Understanding of ALM and DevOps practices. 
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-900, or related certifications.
