DUTIES

Provide speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders, direct in-home

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care as needed

- Monitor and document patient progress

- Educate patients and their families on speech and language strategies for improvement

-Implement evidence-based practice during treatment sessions

-Abide by ASHA & State standards and guidelines for supervision by a licensed speech language pathologist

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

- Valid state license or certification

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
