POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

• The responsibility of the housekeeping and laundry staff is to maintain the guest rooms and public areas of the facility in accordance with hotel standards while reflecting the high expectations of our guests and patrons. The housekeeper and laundry attendant reports to the Housekeeping Manager, as well as Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager. 
• The Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant will deliver the hotel’s high standard of cleanliness and timeliness while delivering exceptional guest services. Housekeepers and Laundry Attendants are required to follow protocols and procedures for cleaning and stocking hotel rooms, cleaning and stocking front and back of house facilities, storing supplies and carts neatly, notifying supervisor and maintenance of broken or missing items, responding to guest requests, turning in lost and found items, and turning laundry. 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: 

•  Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries and pushes. 
•  Lifts and carries supplies, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs. 
•  Essential hand/eye coordination 
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior and exterior hotel, work environment 
•  Noise level is moderate to high 
•  Limited exposure to physical risk 
•  Moderate physical effort required 
•  May require sitting and/or standing for extended periods.
