We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Front Desk Associate to join our team and contribute to our guests' memorable stays.
Job Description:
As an Experience Guide, you will be the face of Hotel Dryce during the daytime hours. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests by providing exceptional customer service, handling check-ins and check-outs, and addressing any inquiries or issues that arise during the day. Experience Guides are also the "vibe setters" at Hotel Dryce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate guests on the local happenings in Fort Worth.
- Educate guests on the history of our building, the local makers that helped furnish and build the hotel, and the art found around the hotel.
- Set the vibe by adjusting music volumes, refresh the scent with our custom incense, and ensure lighting is setting the mood throughout the day and evening.
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and relaxed, but professional demeanor.
- Handle the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain the security and safety of the hotel by monitoring the premises.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
- Work with other departments to ensure the public spaces and guest rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions that fall within established
guidelines.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening or morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
