Job Overview:

This position at Horizons Counseling & Wellness Center is designed for mental health therapy students and interns looking to gain valuable experience in the field. As a Mental Health Therapist - Interns/Students, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced therapists to develop your skills and knowledge in providing therapy to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist
• Assist in developing treatment plans and goals for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure the best possible care for clients
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in mental health therapy or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field of mental health therapy.
• Expected hours: 10-25 per week.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
