Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automating testing processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments. Additionally, you will be designing and implementing complex automated tests to validate output and performance of large image-to-text machine learning models.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate testing methodologies into the software development process.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases.
  • Continuously improve automated testing strategies and frameworks for UI, API, ML models and performance testing.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that automated tests adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to understand how manual test cases can be automated.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art automation strategies and techniques for LLM output validation
  • Monitor and analyze test results, reporting to development teams and management.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SDET or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, Rest-assured, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
