Hope In Her (HIH) is dedicated to eradicating health inequities and enhancing the overall well-being of black girls and women. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to survivors of interpersonal violence while advocating for policy and structural changes that challenge the adultification of black girls. We commit ourselves to fostering a community of healing, empowerment, and resilience, ensuring that every black girl and woman can thrive free from violence and discrimination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 8–20 teletherapy sessions per week (caseload flexible based on availability)
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document clinical progress in a timely, compliant manner
• Utilize trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally relevant clinical frameworks
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision (required for provisional licensure)
• Attend monthly team meetings, reflective case consultations, and optional peer debriefing circles
• Maintain ethical standards aligned with NASW, ACA, and state licensure boards
• Collaborate with Hope In Her team members for referrals, community workshops, and advocacy efforts
• Priority to those with experience with LGBTQIA+, couples and family therapy
• Pay is based on a tiered compensation model. minimum is $30 per session but increases based on caseload.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Active provisional/associate licensure (e.g., LCSWA, LPC-A, LGMFT, LMSW depending on state)
• Clinical experience with trauma, relational abuse, or marginalized populations
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and gender justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and culturally responsive care
• Reliable access to a secure internet connection and a HIPAA-compliant workspace

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lived experience as a Black person or LGBTQ+ clinician
• Trained or interested in modalities such as DBT, EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, or somatic therapy
• Experience working with survivors of abuse, family violence, or complex trauma
• Multilingual or bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or African diaspora languages) a plus
• Willingness to contribute to program development or group facilitation
