The Provisionally Licensed Therapist will provide individual, group, and/or family therapy via telehealth to individuals with marginalized identities navigating trauma recovery, relationship challenges, identity development, and systemic stressors. This position is ideal for a therapist who values a person-centered, social justice approach.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 8–15 tele-therapy sessions per week (caseload flexible based on availability)
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document clinical progress in a timely, compliant manner
  • Utilize trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally relevant clinical frameworks
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision (required for provisional licensure)
  • Attend monthly team meetings, reflective case consultations, and optional peer debriefing circles
  • Maintain ethical standards aligned with NASW, ACA, and state licensure boards
  • Collaborate with Hope In Her team members for referrals, community workshops, and advocacy efforts



Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Active provisional/associate licensure (e.g., LCSWA, LPC-A, LGMFT, LMSW depending on state)
  • Clinical experience with trauma, relational abuse, or marginalized populations
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial and gender justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and culturally responsive care
  • Reliable access to a secure internet connection and a HIPAA-compliant workspace



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lived experience as a Black person or LGBTQ+ clinician
  • Trained or interested in modalities such as DBT, EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, or somatic therapy
  • Experience working with survivors of abuse, family violence, or complex trauma
  • Multilingual or bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or African diaspora languages) a plus
  • Willingness to contribute to program development or group facilitation

Salary
