The Assistant Director is responsible for leading a team. Ensuring the health and safety of all children in Honor Christian Academy's Care
Essential Functions
Including but not limited to:
· Create, implement, and train policies for new and existing employees.
· Lead and Manage Up to 15 employees.
· Communicate effectively with existing and incoming families.
· Ensures program operations are in compliance with donor, grant or regulatory agencies requirements.
· Ensures adequate records and files are maintained for each child and staff. (Including Brightwheel)
· Utilizes social media for recruiting and operational purposes
· Able to provide direct care to children including support for teachers /filling in when necessary.
· Conduct tours for perspective parents
· Acts as point of contact when Director is away.
· Work closely with vendors, visitors, and government agencies.
· Conducts staff meetings and training sessions,
· Responsible for hiring, terminating, and onboarding Staff.
· Enforces HCA Policies when necessary.
· Responsible for meal planning and preparing meals.
· Develops relationships in the community that have a positive impact on Honor Christian Academy.
· Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of each child in our care.

· Must be willing to work with any age group (Infant-Preschool)
