We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a passion for the cannabis industry, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. The Post Harvest Support will play a crucial role in assisting both the Post Harvest Manager and the Post Harvest Lead in maintaining the efficiency and quality of post-harvest operations. This person will work under the guidance of the Post Harvest Manager and the Post-Harvest Lead to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality control standards.

Description

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. 


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the trimming process, both hand trimming and machine trimming, as directed by the Post Harvest Manager. 
  • Support the implementation of quality control procedures under the guidance of the Post Harvest Manager. 
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the post-harvest area. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow. 
  • Follow all safety and standard operation procedure (SOPs) protocol requirements related to maintaining quality standards in the post-harvest activities. 

 

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to post-harvest processes. 


Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced cannabis cultivation facility. 
  • Work may involve exposure to cannabis allergens, chemicals, and odors. 
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required. 


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds. 
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, hand and wrist movement, and reaching. 
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for trimming processes. 


Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in cannabis cultivation or a similar industry preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procedures and protocols. 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Missouri Agent Card.

Salary

$15 - $16 per hour
