Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Driver to transport residents safely to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and community outings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in providing reliable and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, shopping trips, and community activities.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and meets all safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to coordinate transportation needs.
• Monitor residents during transit to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs, including using wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety.
