Position Overview:

We are seeking Experienced Charter Bus Drivers to operate our fleet of buses for a variety of trips, including corporate events, school outings, and private charters. The ideal candidate will possess extensive driving experience, a strong customer service background, and a thorough understanding of safety regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and ensuring a pleasant travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate charter buses while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and offering information about routes and destinations.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and any changes that may arise during the trip.
• Handle emergencies and unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bus interior, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of trip logs, mileage, and passenger counts.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial buses or similar vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes and traffic patterns.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve issues effectively.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs) and assist passengers as needed.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods while driving and perform manual handling of controls.
