This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications and system integrations. The ideal candidate will bring strong software development, integration, database, and production support experience in a fast-paced operational environment. The engineer will partner with business teams, vendors, and technical resources to deliver enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing application modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

·                    Design, develop, maintain, and support Field Technology applications and system integrations.

• Develop and maintain web APIs, services, backend processes, and application components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, interface, and integration issues.
• Participate in application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production deployments, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance activities.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support materials, and implementation records.
• Participate in incident response and operational support activities as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver technology solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

·                    4+ years of total experience in software development, application support, or a closely related technical field.

• Experience with one or more programming languages: C# .NET preferred.
• Experience developing or supporting web APIs and system integrations.
• Experience working with relational databases, such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience supporting business-critical or mission-critical production applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·                    Experience with IIS and web-based application hosting.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience supporting applications in operational or industrial environments.
• Experience balancing software delivery with ongoing production support responsibilities.
