Food Runners will report to the Culinary Team
POSITION SUMMARY: Focus of accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the customer. Evening, Weekends, and Holidays are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be able to identify food items with correct ingredients and proper plating.
- Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain effective and professional communication with the expeditor, kitchen, and front of house staff.
- Stock and restock service sections throughout the shift and maintain cleanliness in service areas.
- Expedite when necessary.
- Be knowledgeable of food safety and hygiene.
- Work with dishwasher to ensure organization and flow in cleaning all dishes, glasses, and flatware.
- Be able to memorize table numbers, sections and customer orders.
- Complete opening and closing side work. Be prepared for business to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Cooperation, respect and a commitment to teamwork are required.
- Practice effective time management to maintain speed and alertness throughout shift.
- Observe required dress code.
- Attend scheduled shifts and meetings, on time and ready to work.
- Possess a valid NM Food Handlers Certificate
Bussers will report to the Front of House Managers
POSITION SUMMARY: A busser assists front of house team in any capacity needed to keep area clean and set up for next guests. Evening, Weekends, and Holidays are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Be aware of areas available for service. For example, table numbers and who the servers are and their service areas for the shift.
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Clear and reset tables. Wipe chairs. Monitor cleanliness of the floors.
- Stock all stations as needed.
- Offer water to guests after they have been seated by Host/Hostess.
- Be interactive with guests.
- Observe guests to respond to any additional requests or to determine when meal and drinks are complete and should be cleared.
- Maintain speed and alertness throughout shift.
- Cooperation, respect, and a commitment to teamwork are required.
- Communicate in a professional manner with guests and co-workers.
- All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests' expectations.
