Classification: Exempt Wage: $67,000 - $95,000

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Champion all aspects of human resources management to ensure we not only comply with legal standards but exceed them, creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Masterfully manage HR software tools like Gusto HR, Deputy for timekeeping, Microsoft, ATS, HubSpot CRM, and other software stacks ensuring our systems support our team effectively and efficiently.
  • Craft and execute engaging weekly staff communication emails and newsletters that keep everyone connected and informed.
  • Lead our recruitment efforts with enthusiasm, from crafting appealing job postings to conducting interviews and selecting candidates who not only have the skills but also the heart to contribute to our culture.
  • Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs that make new employees feel welcomed, valued, and prepared to contribute from day one.
  • Coordinate and personally conduct training sessions on vital topics such as Sexual Harassment, CPR, and more, ensuring our team is not only skilled but also safe and respectful.
  • Handle disciplinary processes and terminations with empathy and fairness, maintaining the integrity and respect of our workspace.
  • Develop and oversee employee improvement plans, focusing on growth and development opportunities for our team members.
  • Conduct thoughtful staff evaluations, providing feedback that encourages and guides our team members toward their professional best.
  • Keep our Employee Handbook updated, ensuring it reflects our culture and values, and manage its application across the company.
  • Maintain meticulously organized and secure employee files, safeguarding our team members' privacy and information.
  • Oversee the management of benefits and enrollment processes, ensuring our team has access to the support and care they need.
  • Administer FMLA and other leaves of absence, ensuring our team feels supported during their personal times of need.
  • Manage time off requests with a balance of operational efficiency and compassion, recognizing the importance of work-life balance.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of activities and initiatives like Summer BBQs, Employee Appreciation Events, Year-End/Holiday events, and a service award recognition program, fostering a sense of community and appreciation within our team.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership teams to ensure our employees feel engaged, retained, and invested in. Your efforts will help us build a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive.
  • Utilize Exit Interview data to pinpoint trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, aiming to reduce turnover and retain our valuable team members. Manager department P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in relevant field
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • 5+ years of experience in program coordination or a related field
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Knowledge of program evaluation and budget management
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, program development, and operational excellence.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally with exposure to educational, community, or youth programs.
  • Familiarity with the education system and community outreach
  • Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in the community.
