You will lead by example, bringing positive energy and encouragement to all those around you, and assist in whatever ways are necessary for the betterment of the team and students.

Description

Essential Responsibilities: 


  • Supervise and ensure the safety, development, growth, and wellbeing of the students 
  • Engage, demonstrate, and participate with students during sport enrichment activities, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship 
  • Systematically plan and set up activities, drills, and scrimmages that provide growth opportunities for students to develop and enhance athletic and social-emotional skills 
  • Assist with the set up and break down of equipment for training sessions 
  • Attend monthly Professional Development Training Events to enhance professional learning and skills 
  • Support on-site team with all necessary responsibilities possibly including coaching, supervising, cleaning, and teaching 
  • Communicate feedback or areas of improvement to Program Coordinator and/or team leaders 

Qualifications:  


  • Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in the community 
  • Fun, energetic, patient, and attentive personality 
  • Responsible, accountable, and reliable 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills 
  • Prior experience working with students and/or children 
  • Sports background and experience preferred 
  • Physical ability to participate in sports activities such as running, jumping, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and/or proof of immunizations 
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or active enrollment in high school 
  • First Aid/CPR and additional training may be required or beneficial

Salary

$16 - $21 per hour
