Overview

The Make Ready/Grounds Technician acts under the direction of the Community Manager and Service Manager, keeping the appearance of the property in excellent condition, both inside and out, ensuring the community is clean, safe, attractive, and well-maintained at all times.

You must represent High 5 Residential in a professional manner while making residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.

Additional responsibilities include: 

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community grounds and amenities on an ongoing basis (picking up litter, pressure washing/blowing breezeways/railings, changing lightbulbs, etc.)
• Inspect move-outs and vacancies and perform trash-outs and basic touch-up cleaning
• Complete make-ready punch list items (electrical, plumbing, caulking, etc.) in preparation for future resident move-ins
• Assist in set up/tear down of resident functions; attend functions and participate as directed
• Assist in placing or removing/updating banners, balloons, bandit signs, flags, etc.
• Seasonal tasks, such as assisting with pool maintenance, or ice/snow removal during inclement weather

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous maintenance, grounds, or landscaping work experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Apartment industry experience preferred
• CPO certification a plus
• Must demonstrate support of High 5 values
