Jimmy John's General Managers oversee the day-to-day operations of a restaurant with a positive attitude, leads by example, and executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity in a fast paced environment. They are directly responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring that the store meets our customer standards of quality, freaky fast service while maintaining hospital cleanliness. It is your responsibility to enforce Jimmy John standards at all times so that the product, and quality is consistent.

Responsibilities:

1. Leads by example
2. Effectively communicates
3. Trains and develops new employees and managers
4. Slices 1lb per minute 
5. Consistently makes neat and accurate 30 second sandwiches with no dry spots
6. Consistently opens store 100% and slicing started by 9:30 am
7. Optimizes profits by controlling costs; e.g slicing on lower end of spectrum and regulating waste
8. Able to resolve customer issues/complaints to the customer’s satisfaction.
9. Provides leadership and direction to all employees (DELEGATION)
10. Ensures product quality and availability including: ordering produce & Sysco, if needed
11. Takes disciplinary action when necessary (Hold your team accountable).
12. Ensures an exceptional standard of customer service
13. Motivates employees and ensures a focus on store goals such as; weekly up selling goals.
14. Maintains stores standards: DBL’s, punch lists and paperwork complete 100% before end of shift.
15. Applies inventory and has the ability to check for inconsistencies or errors
16. Knows and understands labor and COG goals
17. Controls/Creates store schedules
18. Can pass certification practice test at 95%
