Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless coordination across our retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. This role involves overseeing inventory management, delivery operations and backend support for store needs, while leveraging advanced systems like NetSuite WMS, Shopify. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a focus on optimizing processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring high performance in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates, supervisors and drivers.
Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of products across all business channels.
Utilize NetSuite WMS and other inventory tools to maintain real-time stock accuracy and optimize inventory levels.
Monitor and replenish inventory for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale operations.
Address shortages, damages, and discrepancies by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
Plan and assign tasks, evaluate performance, and provide guidance on professional growth.
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, including rewards and disciplinary actions.
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment, issuing repair orders or requisitions for replacements as needed.
Develop, implement, and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficiency.
Analyze warehouse workflows and initiate lean projects to improve efficiency.
Establish and track key performance metrics for operational success.
Ensure timely and accurate order preparation and shipment for all channels, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Oversee the safe delivery of goods to retail locations and customers, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
Generate and review reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure all operations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a retail/e-commerce/wholesale environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Knowledge of NetSuite WMS, inventory management software, Shopify or other similar applications.
Quantifiable success in improving warehouse operations and achieving KPIs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of lean methodologies or continuous improvement practices (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
Capability to operate standard warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Comfort with physical tasks, such as climbing stairs or prolonged standing.
