Helium Technical Writer - Shopify Development (CONTRACT) Remote · Part time

THE JOB

Helium is looking for someone with Shopify Dev chops to write technical guides and how-to's related to Shopify Website Development and/or Helium apps (https://apps.shopify.com/partners/helium-development)

Examples include:

• How to set up form analytics using Google Analytics
• How to use customer metafields as a line-item properties or cart attributes

• are familiar with Shopify Development
• active in the Shopify ecosystem
• have exceptional written communication (in native-level English)
• have current, comprehensive knowledge of ecommerce
• understand the web design and development world
• have experience with Google Docs
• maintain the ability to adapt writing voice to match Helium (light-hearted, funny, helpful, professional)
• are committed to turning assignments in on time

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for submitting cohesive, well-researched, and properly cited technical guides and blog posts. Guides should be succinct and to the point. We care about completeness, not word count. That said, a typical word count (including sample code) would be 500-1000 words.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of professional web development experience
• 1+ years of Shopify Development experience
• Experienced with front-end JavaScript frameworks (React)
• Experienced with Liquid
• Fluent English speaker
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills

COMPENSATION

Compensation is negotiable. Willing to pay hourly or per article.
