We’re looking for a passionate, kind, and thoughtful individual to join our product design team. As a key, early hire, you'll be critical to helping define our company culture, navigate a fast-moving industry, and grow your skills, our team, and the company's bottom line.


We're looking for a special person that can roll up their sleeves early on and make things happen, loves navigating ambiguity but can wrangle their teammates back in with a vision.


Day to day, you will be working alongside product managers and engineers to design and build the most usable, beautiful platform in the web3 space. We want our products to delight our users.


You’ll spend time understanding our customers’ needs around tokenizing assets on the blockchain, distributing blockchain assets, and measuring those assets’ impact on our customers’ businesses. How do they want to manage their assets? And what possibilities can we unlock with these new and exciting technologies?


Our ideal candidate is someone who obsesses over the usability of products but is also excited to explore their creativity.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

  • 3-5 years experience as a digital product designer as well as collaborating with cross-functional partners (Engineers, Researchers, Product Managers, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in the user-centered design process in both mobile and web interfaces
  • Ability to go deep and think about various edge cases, and to go wide in order to connect dots between the business and our users
  • Experience working with UX researchers and/or conducting self-run user research projects
  • Understands the value of prototyping in order to communicate decisions with cross-functional partners
  • Experience using Figma (Bonus: Adobe Creative tools like Photoshop, Illustrator)


Responsibilities

  • Work to understand and help the business navigate the web3 market
  • Help design for both enterprise and consumer web3 mobile and web applications
  • Contribute to our evolving design system
  • Coordinate with product and engineering to consistently ship high-quality software
  • Make an impact on a small design team with an opportunity to grow into a leader
  • Work closely with the Head of Design to push design overall at Heirloom
  • Identify gaps or weaknesses in our current platform
  • Communicate constantly with users of our platform
  • Communicate your thoughts, ideas, and feelings in a clear manner, written and verbal, with our community and your team
  • Add energy to every conversation
  • Apply principles of extreme collaboration and ownership of your work
  • Figure out what didn't work
  • Ask why

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
