Heirloom makes simple tools for managing your digital identity on the blockchain—starting with academic credentials.

Major universities in the United States use Heirloom to issue degrees, club memberships, and other academic credentials on-chain to engage their students and alumni communities in completely new ways.

We’re looking for a passionate, kind, and thoughtful mobile engineer for the company. As a key, early hire, you'll be critical to helping define our company culture, navigate a fast-moving industry, and grow your skills, your team, and the company's bottom line.

We're looking for a special person that can roll up their sleeves early on and make things happen but can also scale into a leader for the bigger, better version of Heirloom you will help us build.

Responsibilities

• Work with the product team to understand user needs
• Build engaging and beautiful mobile end-user experiences
• Have a good grasp of mobile architecture and best practices
• Have a good grasp of automated testing frameworks / continuous integration
• Measure and optimize the performance of our mobile product
• Identify gaps or weaknesses in our current platform
• Communicate your thoughts, ideas, and feelings in a clear manner, written and verbal, with our community and your team
• Add energy to every conversation

Required Skills

• Expert level iOS knowledge (Swift + SwiftUI)
• Fine attention to UI/UX detail
• Experience building seamless animations / transitions
• Basic understanding of cryptography applications
• Secure programming experience
• Familiarity with web3/blockchain concepts

You’ll work on a wide array of products, so be flexible and ready to try new things. Familiarity with web3 technologies is great, as is the ability to learn new frameworks and technologies on the fly.
