Position: Production Specialist – Wide Format Production & Graphics

Location: Saint Petersburg, FL

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour

Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday, 11am – 7pm; weekends as needed

Job Summary

The Production Specialist is responsible for operating wide format presses, loading substrates and consumables, and preparing finished products for the next production stage. This role requires organization, multi-tasking across various projects, and equipment proficiency to ensure seamless operations and high-quality output.


Furthermore, this role will actively participate in equipment cleaning and assist in consumable inventory levels to ensure seamless operation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production Operations
  • Operate large format printers and cutters.
  • Organize and load art into printer-specific pre-press software and monitor supply levels to avoid interruption.
  • Oversee printed materials through various stages of production.
  • Prepares orders throughout various stages of production
  • Cut, organize, and prepare products for shipment or next stage processing.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work as a team player, assisting other departments with finishing tasks and shipping needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the production manager, sales, and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Equipment & Inventory Management
  • Maintain, clean, and monitor wide-format printing equipment regularly.
  • Help manage inventory levels of consumables for uninterrupted production.
  • Quality & Efficiency
  • Adhere to high quality standards and maintain a fast production pace.
  • Follow workflow processes diligently, taking pride in producing quality work.
  • Take initiative to learn, improve, and attend trainings as required.
  • Safety & Organization
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Adhere to safety standards, policies, and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Experience:
  • Required experience with wide-format printing equipment.
  • Some experience with graphics programs (Adobe Suite) and/or pre-press software is preferred.
  • Experience with apparel printing/production is preferred but not necessary.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for an entire shift, regularly lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Salary
