About Heartstrings Pet Hospice In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately owned, rapidly growing in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care practice founded on our core values of Compassion, Dignity, and Respect. Unlike corporate or private-equity–backed organizations, our focus is on people—our families, our patients, and our medical team. We are expanding into Philadelphia & Other Surrounding Area's and we are seeking exceptional Associate Veterinarians who want to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive, values-driven environment. At Heartstrings, you will never be asked to sign a non-compete agreement. We believe great veterinarians stay because they’re valued—not because they’re restricted.

We are a Privately Held, Family-Owned and Doctor Led Veterinary Practice - and we DO NOT USE NON-COMPETE CONTRACTS. Not a shortened one. Not a "reasonable radius" one. NONE! Unlike the national and private-equity-backed end-of-life networks, your career here is never held hostage by a contract clause. You are free to build your professional life on your own terms, and we would like to earn the right to be part of it.

Why Heartstrings?

Privately Owned – Not Corporate

  • Direct access to leadership and medical decision-makers
  • No private equity or volume-driven pressure
  • A collaborative, family-centered culture
  • Your voice matters—clinically and professionally

No Non-Compete Requirement

Who Thrives Here

The veterinarians who love this work tend to be the ones who were always best at the hard conversations. If you've ever finished a euthanasia appointment and thought "that was the most meaningful thing I did all week , I wish I'd had another twenty minutes," you already understand the job.

Experienced doctors looking to step away from the pace of general or emergency practice, without stepping away from medicine, are exactly who we built this for. Doctors returning from a break, or building a schedule around family, are genuinely welcome.
