About Heart in Hand Healing Arts

The Pulse of Our Practice At Heart in Hand Healing Arts, we recognize that our practitioners are the soul of everything we achieve. We don’t just hire "staff"—we curate a collective of dedicated healers who are passionate about the intersection of clinical skill and genuine human connection. Working with us means stepping into an environment that respects your expertise, honors your intuition, and prioritizes your longevity in the wellness industry. Why Build Your Career Here? We know that the "healer's burnout" is real. That’s why we’ve built a workplace culture designed to sustain you as much as you sustain our clients: • Intentional Scheduling: We value quality over quantity. Our schedules include built-in recovery time between sessions to ensure you can show up fully present for every client without draining your own battery. • A Collaborative Sanctuary: Forget the isolation of solo practice. Here, you’ll find a supportive community of peers. We encourage the sharing of modalities, internal referrals, and a "rising tide lifts all boats" mentality. • Empowered Autonomy: We provide the framework and the beautiful space, but we trust your hands. You have the freedom to integrate your unique style and specialized training into every treatment plan. • Commitment to Growth: Whether it’s through continuing education stipends or in-house mentorship, we are invested in your evolution. As you sharpen your craft, we grow together. Who You Are You aren’t just looking for a job; you’re looking for a place where your work carries weight. Our ideal team members are: 1. Technically Proficient: You have a deep understanding of anatomy and a commitment to safe, effective practice. 2. Emotionally Intelligent: You understand the "Heart" in our name—you hold space with empathy and maintain professional boundaries with grace. 3. Growth-Oriented: You are a lifelong learner who stays curious about new techniques and holistic trends. The Heart in Hand Promise We provide the premium supplies, the tranquil atmosphere, and a steady stream of aligned clients. You bring the skill and the spirit. Together, we create a workplace where healing is a shared journey. If you’re ready to practice in a space that values the person behind the practitioner, we’d love to meet you.

Description

W2 Associate Position | MA • ME • NC

"The way you are treated directly impacts the way you heal."

At Heart in Hand Healing Arts, we are changing the game. This practice was founded by a clinician who understands the heavy toll of traditional community mental health settings—environments where high case volumes and rigid parameters often make it impossible to provide the depth of care that clients truly need.

A Note from our Founder and Clinical Director:

“My whole heart is in this work, and I believe that the integrity of our clinical care depends on the well-being of our providers. I am dedicated to treating my team with the profound compassion, respect, and professional care they deserve. Here, we move away from 'managing symptoms within parameters' and toward true clinical guidance and support. We ensure our clinicians have the space, the time, and the grounding to follow their clinical intuition and offer the holistic, specialized healing our clients deserve.”

About Heart in Hand Healing Arts

Originally rooted in a deep commitment to holistic healing in Connecticut, Heart in Hand Healing Arts is a growing group private practice specializing in integrative mental health services, art therapy, and trauma-informed clinical counseling. We provide evidence-based, creative modalities to individuals and groups with a focus on heart-centered, holistic healing. We are currently expanding our footprint to bring this model to Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Maine, and we are looking for passionate, dually-focused clinicians to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a W2 Associate Clinician dually focused on Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling. You will provide telehealth services to clients in your respective state while receiving high-level clinical and creative supervision directly from our founder, an experienced ATR-BC and LMHC/LPC.

In this role, you are provided the tools and support to follow your clinical intuition and long-term goals. We are here to assist in establishing grounding and safety along your journey toward independent licensure. There is room to grow and expand within the practice as you wish; we believe in nurturing the professional interests of our providers so you have the opportunity to focus on specialized care.

What We Offer (The Benefits)

  • Autonomy: You determine your own schedule and flexible hours. We trust you to manage your time in a way that prevents burnout.

  • Dual-Track Supervision: Weekly 1:1 and group supervision that satisfies both your Counseling licensure and your Art Therapy registration (ATR).

  • Retirement: Access to both Traditional and Roth 401(k) accounts with an employer match.

  • Professional Development: An annual CEU stipend to support your clinical growth.

  • Administrative & Credentialing Support: We handle all billing, insurance paneling, and provide your HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

  • Growth Opportunities: Clear pathways to evolve within the practice based on your unique goals and interests.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Art Therapy or a related counseling field with an Art Therapy concentration.

  • Licensure Status: Provisionally licensed/Associate level (LPC-A, LMHC-A, or LCPC-Conditional) and pursuing ATR-P or ATR status.

  • Location: Must reside in and be eligible to practice in Massachusetts, North Carolina, or Maine.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing EHR systems and telehealth platforms.

  • Clinical Compassion: A strong interest in trauma-informed care and integrative creative modalities.
