Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Receive payment and record receipts for services.
• Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or admission.
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Processing faxes and loading patient documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the physician and patients.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
• Perform EKGs and apply Holter monitors.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff to ensure quality patient care is attained.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and great people skills for customer interactions, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office for clinic hours.
• The ability to work efficiently using a computer, as most of our files and workflows are digital.
• Strong communication skills both in-person, by phone, and in writing.
• Experience with Tebra (Electronic Medical Records) and RingRx are a plus.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certifications a plus.

Candidates must possess the ability to successfully clear background and drug testing requirements.
