About the Role:

We are looking for our first in house Android & iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android & iOS  app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android & iOS programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.

The successful candidate in this role will be able to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive and results driven attitude. They will be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities across both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will be a master in their ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

What you will do:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android and iOS platforms
• Utilize proficient knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and bring new functionalities to life on both platforms.
• Work with both external and internal data sources and APIs.
• Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs to optimize application performance on both Android and iOS.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What makes you a great fit:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 5+ years of experience in Android application development
• 2+ years of experience in iOS application development.
• Strong working knowledge in Java and Kotlin (Android development) and Switch and Objective-C (iOS development).
• Deep knowledge of the Android SDK and iOS development tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQLite, Room and Core Data
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience with unit and UI testing in both Android and iOS environments.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.

What makes you stand out:

• Knowledge in reactive programming (RxJava for Java, Coroutines for Kotlin, RxSwift for Swift).
• Experience with Google services integrations (Firebase, Google Maps, etc.) and Apple services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Relevant certifications in Android or mobile development using Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C
