Schedule: Monday–Friday
Flexible hours between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. We value work-life balance while also meeting member needs, so this role includes a mix of early and later shifts throughout the week.
What You’ll Do
Fitness Center Programming & Management
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of fitness center programs and wellness initiatives
- Provide supervision and support for members during fitness center operating hours
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment
- Assist with equipment preventative maintenance and facility upkeep
- Conduct fitness assessments, exercise testing, and provide personalized feedback to participants
- Lead a variety of engaging group fitness classes
- Coordinate annual wellness events such as company 5Ks, wellness challenges, and health and wellness fairs
- Support member engagement, retention, and program evaluation efforts
- Ensure the safety and positive experience of all fitness center members
- Enjoy the autonomy to help run and shape the fitness center experience — bringing your own passions, specialties, certifications, and creative programming ideas to life
Outreach & Wellness Promotion
- Deliver health education programs, seminars, and wellness presentations
- Support fitness incentive programs and collaborate with broader corporate wellness initiatives
- Promote fitness center services and identify innovative ways to increase participation and member utilization
- Create health-focused educational content including articles, displays, and bulletin board materials
- Build relationships with employees and foster a culture of health and wellness throughout the organization
Member Experience & Service Excellence
- Represent the fitness center in a professional, positive, and approachable manner
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards across all programs, services, and member interactions
- Collaborate with the broader wellness and fitness services team to share ideas and resources
- Perform additional duties that support the success of the wellness program
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field such as Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Wellness, Sports Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a corporate fitness or wellness setting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
- Current CPR/AED Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Group Exercise Certification (Yoga, Spin, Barre, Zumba, etc.)
- Nationally recognized fitness or wellness certification such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, or NSCA
- Experience teaching group fitness classes
- Passion for creating innovative wellness programming and building community within a fitness environment
