HealthSource Solutions is seeking an engaging and dependable Part-Time Wellness/Fitness Specialist to support an onsite corporate fitness center. This role offers a consistent Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. schedule, meaningful interaction with members, and the opportunity to lead fitness and wellness programming in a professional workplace environment. Working under the direction of the Health Fitness Manager or designated client manager, the Fitness Specialist supports day-to-day fitness center operations, member onboarding, fitness orientations, group exercise, wellness programming, and general exercise guidance while helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for members.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome new members and conduct fitness center orientations
  • Lead group fitness classes and demonstrate proper exercise techniques and equipment use
  • Provide general exercise guidance and, where applicable, develop individualized exercise programs
  • Create and support fitness challenges, wellness programs, and member engagement activities
  • Assist with program communications, materials, tracking, and reporting
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness center
  • Monitor and report equipment, facility, maintenance, technology, or supply needs
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to member questions and concerns
  • Follow all safety, emergency, privacy, and incident reporting procedures, including CPR/AED and EMS response when needed
  • Support additional onsite, virtual, administrative, and operational responsibilities as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or at least one year of experience in exercise physiology, corporate fitness, wellness, health promotion, or a healthcare related field
  • Current nationally accredited group fitness or personal training certification
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Appropriate certification for any group fitness classes taught
  • Strong communication, organization, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other required technology
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work independently while knowing when to escalate concerns
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including demonstrating exercises, teaching classes, responding to emergencies, performing CPR, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to meet applicable health and safety requirements related to communicable disease



Salary

$24 - $28 per hour
