Position Overview

The Community Manager Intern will play an essential role in expanding Healing Souls' community presence by establishing and maintaining partnerships with schools, businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and other community-based organizations. This individual will help market and promote Healing Souls' services, identify new business opportunities, and support the planning and implementation of community events, meetings, and outreach activities.

The ideal candidate is passionate about community engagement, business development, marketing, and building meaningful relationships that support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Development and Relationship Management

• Identify and research potential organizational partners, including schools, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
• Initiate contact with prospective partners through email, phone calls, networking, and outreach activities.
• Establish, develop, and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective partners.
• Coordinate partnership meetings, follow-ups, and presentations to introduce Healing Souls' services.
• Maintain accurate records of partner contacts, communications, and partnership progress.

2. Sales and Marketing

• Promote and help secure organizational partnerships for Healing Souls' wellness services, workshops, and corporate wellness programs.
• Communicate the benefits of Healing Souls' services to prospective clients and organizations.
• Assist with developing marketing strategies, promotional materials, and outreach campaigns.
• Identify potential revenue-generating opportunities and contribute to business development goals.
• Follow up with prospective partners and assist with converting inquiries into service agreements and partnerships.

3. Community Engagement and Outreach

• Assist with coordinating and facilitating Healing Souls community events, workshops, meetings, and outreach initiatives.
• Represent Healing Souls professionally at networking events and community engagements.
• Help recruit participants, volunteers, and community members for organizational programs.
• Support community engagement efforts that align with Healing Souls' mission and vision.
• Assist with gathering participant feedback and identifying opportunities to improve community programming.

4. Administrative and Organizational Support

• Attend scheduled team meetings and provide updates on outreach and partnership activities.
• Assist with preparing partnership proposals, presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
• Track outreach efforts, partnership leads, and engagement outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership and other team members to support organizational growth and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Interest in sales, marketing, business development, community engagement, and wellness initiatives.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable conducting outreach, networking, and communicating with organizational decision-makers.
• Proficiency with email, online meeting platforms, document creation, and basic business software.
