The Behavior Assistant provides a variety of therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing behavior intervention services to children and adolescents in their homes and communities in Gloucester and Atlantic County.
- Delivering one-on-one skill-building interventions to clients.
- Offering support and psycho-education to individuals and families.
- Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Master’s level clinicians.
- Utilizing behavioral interventions and management techniques.
- Documenting all activities in the HQCV reporting system.
- Completing time logs and progress reports accurately.
- Maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
- Ensuring punctuality for scheduled sessions and communicating any delays to families.
- Participating in monthly virtual staff meetings.
- Reporting emergencies or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with youth experiencing mental and/or behavioral health challenges.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and registered vehicle.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Dependable, independent, creative, and compassionate towards others.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve effectively.

Mobile Response services: Gloucester and Atlantic County.
