Salary Range: $16 to $18 per hour

Job Overview:

As a Computer / AV Technician I, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' technology needs. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware, software, audiovisual (AV) equipment, and related peripherals. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their technology systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of computer hardware, software, and AV equipment, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software applications, and AV equipment promptly and effectively.

- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of computer systems, peripherals, and AV equipment to minimize downtime and ensure maximum operational efficiency.

- Provide technical support and assistance to clients, both remotely and on-site, in a professional and courteous manner.

- Set up and operate audiovisual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and displays for meetings, presentations, and events.

- Train clients on the proper use of computer systems, software applications, and AV equipment, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to utilize these tools effectively.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

- Must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training in computer systems and audiovisual technology is preferred.

- Proven experience as a computer technician or AV technician, with a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and AV equipment.

- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer systems, software applications, and AV equipment.

- Familiarity with networking, audiovisual systems, and related components.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and quickly adapt to changing situations.

- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including the regulation that prohibits inquiries about criminal backgrounds during the hiring process.
