We are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites. What sets us apart? Please note that our trucks are non-smoking. With at least 1 year of dump truck experience and a clean driving record. Description
Responsibility:
- Drive and operate a tri or quad axle dump truck safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck's roadworthiness.
- Ensure that the load is properly secured and balanced.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, maintenance activities, and hours worked.
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Foster clear communication with dispatchers, manager, mechanic, and fellow drivers.
- Perform minor maintenance/repairs on the truck as needed and promptly report any issues.
- Keep interior of cab and dump bed clean.
Requirements:
- A valid Class A or Class B CDL License.
- A valid medical card in compliance with regulations.
- At least 1 year of prior experience with dump trucks is required (Asphalt experience REQUIRED)
- A 100% clean 5-year motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.
- Competency in downloading and using technology apps like MOTIVE and GUSTO for daily operations. You will be required to download these apps and utilize them on your personal phone.
Salary
$27 - $27 per hour
