Harvest Hands is a nonprofit organization that provides afterschool & summer programs, work-based leadership, Empower Sports & counseling services to underserved communities in Nashville.

Responsibilities

• Having a mentor and getting support in a positive and encouraging environment
• Assist with teaching work-based learning and life skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, leadership, and professionalism
• Help supervise youth during programs, activities, field trips, and work experiences
• Encourage personal growth, accountability, and goal setting
• Get help with job readiness skills including resumes, interview preparation, and workplace expectations
• Serve as a positive role model and build healthy relationships with youth participants
• Support program staff with organizing activities, workshops, and community service projects
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Communicate effectively with staff, youth, families, and community partners
