Medical Equipment Installer
OVERVIEW:
Hart & Hart Construction is expanding! We’re looking for a Medical Equipment Installer for nationwide installation of overhead patient lift systems and other medical equipment in hospitals, long-term healthcare and rehabilitation facilities. We help certify safe measures for frontline healthcare workers and quality care for the vulnerable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Install specialized medical equipment, primarily ceiling track lift systems
- Perform quality audits of installations
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
- Manage project documentation and expense records
- Source installation materials and equipment
- Maintain company vehicles for extensive ground travel with cargo trailer
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Weekly nationwide travel required with extended overnight stays
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Experience with technical documentation and safety protocols
- Experience with equipment installations
- Experience with towing and hauling a cargo trailer
- 3-5 years construction experience: able to work in construction environments (noise, dust, moving parts)
- Familiar with and able to work at heights and around electrical systems
- Able to work long hours with extensive travel periods throughout the US
- Ability to lift/move up to 80 lbs regularly; able to work with physical demands (periods of long-standing, climbing, balancing, stooping and kneeling)
- Able to work schedule rotations: one week on, one week off
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, design specifications and plans
- Experience with medical equipment installations in Healthcare industry a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Weekly pay
- Job site rate: $30-35/hour (experience-based)
- Travel rate: $15/hour
- Overtime eligible at 1.5x blended rate
